Day 7

A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you….
Okay…

I just love my parents. More than anything. This is what a relationship should be like. This is how you love. And they’ve taught me this throughout my life—I want to be like just like them someday. Probably why I’m being so picky. My future husband has a lot to live up to.

Are you seeing how awesome these people are? Look closely. How could I not be affected by them. They’re fantastic!
(we are missing a couple people in this picture, namely Baby Owen and Whore-hey(Jorge)—Saydee’s Lover/Spouse…They are important too, but I haven’t taken a picture with them in it yet.)

And of course. My foundation.

Back to Day 5…

So. Traveling is pretty much great. So I go places. These are the states I’ve been/drove through/had a layover—(driving through and laying over totally counts)
I’ve also been here:

Carribean Carribean2
Megan's Bay
Grand Turks

And here:  philly
philly1 philly2 New York
DC DC2

And here:

Nauvoo
And of course here:

Disnyland

bugs bugs
California 2010 032 Disneyland! 009

(Don’t ask me how I managed to make the same face each time over a 5 year span)
(Guess I’m just talented like that.)

DAY 4

A Habit I Wish I Didn't Have...
Holy. Moly. If I could change anything about myself it would be this...

I have this terrible habit of not cleaning my room. Its plagued me for as long as I can remember. I think most of it has something to do with the fact that:
My closet is yay big…
|____|
and the amount of clothes I have is yay big…
|________________|
Do you see the predicament I'm in? My life is hard.

Anyway. Its on my list of things to do.

You know, get a bigger closet.

Day 2

The Meaning Behind my Blog Name…
So. I’m kinda quirky, in case you haven’t noticed. This isn’t a new thing. I’ve actually been a little bit off the norm my entire life.
So was it strange when I was 14, and would randomly introduce myself to people by saying “So. My name is Kate. With a K.”? Was it stranger that on other occasions, when I wanted to make sure they were paying attention, would add “Two Ks. The second one is silent”?
Was it strange? Yes. Yes it was.
But. My blog name rocks. So. Whatever.

(okay, I’ll be honest. By “people” I mean my immediate family members. I felt it was important to reiterate who I was to them. Middle child syndrome thing, I think)

Day Numero Uno

A recent picture and 15 interesting facts about myself.
Set. Go.

(So a couple months ago haircutting lady says “Kate, can I take some pictures of your hair to put in my portfolio?” and I say “Oh sure, go ahead”. Next thing I know, there’s a camera, and lights, and people doing my make up, and pictures of me up on a website. Apparently, I’m a model. Who knew.)

Planet of the Apes, circa 1968, is my favorite movie. Ever.
I eat more chocolate than I do regular food.
I don’t know what my natural hair color looks like.
I have a very healthy obsession with wedding dresses, and someday when I’m awesome, I totally plan on opening my own bridal shop.
I love the color red more than anything.
Almost without fail, I fall asleep during every movie I watch, regardless of time, location, or company.
I failed my driver’s test. Twice.
I do music. Piano, Guitar, Singing, Listening. It’s my passion.
I hate being cold. Unless its 84 degrees outside, I’m shivering. Life is hard.
Just because I was a ballerina for 9 years, does not mean I have any rhythm or coordination when it comes to dance. Cuz I don’t. At all.
I have not worn a pair of white socks since I was 12.
6 college major changes, and counting. Still not sure what I want to be when I grow up…
I’ve worked at America First Credit Union 8 years longer than I ever planned on working there.
I’m not the most athletic person ever, but I can basically catch anything you throw at me. It’s my cat-like reflexes.
One time, I got ran over. By a float. In a parade. That’s right.
